Why Social Media is Important.

Social Media Pages.

I asked Charlotte to create a Facebook page so we could post our updates for our upcoming film, Saving Grace. I thought that by doing this, we could also get engagement for classmates and college students as this is our target audience. We also used our company logo as well as our blogger background as our profile picture and cover photo, which keeps continuity throughout all of our links. This also makes us have brand continuity as it is the same logo throughout.

By posting onto Facebook we can also have some sort of audience engagement, knowing what our audience likes and doesn't like. Finding this out allows us to include specific things and can allow us to potentially grow our audience, which is the aim of the majority of film companies, as well as ours.

Social Media is important in order to create and larger audience and expand our viewers. Having a Facebook page also promotes our film by it being a free website. More than 1 billion people have an account on the website, meaning that social media is one of the best ways to advertise our film as it is free and easy. Social marketing may also be the future, with 'Viral Marketing' campaigns being more and more popular with production companies as the years progress. ( Viral Adverts Research )
