Funky Buddha Barnsley
Funky Buddha Barnsley is a colourful, neon lit bar situated across from Barnsley Sixth Form College. Its specialities include a wide range of cocktails and drinks. The purple lit bar creates a calm atmosphere whilst contrasting with the vibrant colours of the alcohol bottles. This would be a good bar to film in as it is spacious but can easily be made to look full from different angles and shots. Through the daytime it is also known as a place to eat food, with excellent cuisine. Being able to film here would be a privillage as our film would look more realistic.
Club Purism- The Theatre Royal
Club Purism is a nightclub situated within the middle of town, therefore making it busy. Despite this nightclub being a challenge to gain access to film in, we believe that it would be the perfect filming location. Again like The Funky Buddha Barnsley, the club has neon colours that are a vibrant purple colour. This nightclub is very spacious, therefore to make our film look realistic we would be required to find a lot of extras.
Whispers Lounge
Whispers Nightclub is a nightclub and lounge bar known for it's history as Japanese Whispers. Including DJ's, professional lighting and vivid colours. Due to Whispers trying to climb back up the ladder of success, i believe that filming here would be incredibly easy to organise. Although it is not as popular as Club Purism or The Funky Buddha, Whispers is a prime location for us to use.
